In 2025, I took on the 100 bowl donation challenge.
Since 2006 I've made over 1500 bowls, either by my hand or helping others to create and donate them, by hosting "bowl-a-thons", in support of this charity. Empty Bowls Houston held it's first event in 2005.
I have also acted as the Empty Bowls chair and co-chair for several years.
